How it all began
We love ice cream and were often found at our great inspiration, the ice cream parlor Puro in Ede, which led us to start our own gelateria. After completing our training in Italy and undergoing a serious renovation at Bergstraat 2 in Wageningen, we opened our own gelateria on April 1, 2024.

At Icekootje, our gelato is made with love for people and animals. We consciously choose sustainable ingredients and materials, from compostable ice cream cups to plant-based cleaning products. Our goal is to share our passion with you, whether you love traditional flavors like vanilla and tiramisu or are adventurous and want to discover new flavors like rhubarb or cucumber.
